I was raised in Mandurah and went to medical school at the University of Western Australia graduating in 2007. My internship and resident years were at Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital, Osborne Park Hospital and Joondalup Health Campus.

I trained in anaesthesia in the Western Australian anaesthetic training scheme and was awarded my Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College and Anaesthetists in 2014. I completed both an Advanced Airway Fellowship and Simulation Fellowship (Medical Education) at Royal Perth Hospital.

My interests include Ear Nose Throat (including advanced airway management cases), orthopaedics, obstetrics and gynaecology, and urology. I perform paediatric anaesthesia for non-major cases. I am involved in medical education with a focus on airway management and preparing registrars for the part one basic sciences exams.

Overseas I have practiced medicine in India, Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos.

I am a member of the Australia and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA), the Australian Society of Anaesthetists (ASA) and the West Australian Airway Group (WAAG).

I am married with one son and one daughter who are beginning to enjoy my interest in amateur motorsport.

I will try to contact all patients, where possible, via telephone to take an anaesthetic history and give patients the opportunity to discuss any concerns or questions regarding anaesthesia prior to the date of surgery. If you have any specific concerns please don’t hesitate to contact Perth Anaesthetic Group and I will attempt to get in touch as soon as practically possible.
